We offer meditations, satsangs, kirtans, concerts and classes, writings and videos from the wisdom of Paramhansa Yogananda, Swami Kriyananda and their descendants.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Live Broadcasts from Assisi

Sunday Satsangs, classes, events and special occassions will be broadcasted, including various Ananda ceremonies, celebrations of the Masters of our Path, Christmas and Easter events, kirtans, choir concerts, musical concerts and theatre plays.

Guided Morning Meditations

Morning meditations will be broadcast from the Sangha studio. The entire duration will be about 45 minutes.

New Guided Kriyaban Meditations

Every Saturday morning from 7 to 8.30 there is a new guided Kriya meditation with our English speaking Kriyacharyas from Ananda Assisi. This is one of the most important ways of support that we offer our Kriyabans.

Recorded broadcasts from Assisi

Some classes and events that are not broadcasted live will be recorded for later viewing and can be found in our video section.

Live Virtual Satsangs for Meditation Groups

Arrangements can be made for one of the Ananda ministers to give a live, interactive program for your meditation group.

Nayaswami Anand

Nayaswami Anand is a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda since 1973. He was appointed by Swami Kriyananda as co-spiritual director of Ananda Europa, and as a Kriyacharya in 2005. His experience, born of deep meditation, enlivens his classes and is much appreciated by students of Self-realization around the world.

Nayaswami Kirtani

Kirtani has been a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda and on the path of Self-realization since 1974. She was appointed by Swami Kriyananda as the Spiritual Director of Ananda’s work in Europe, and a Kriyacharya in 1993.

Nayaswami Shivani

Founder of the Ananda Raja Yoga School and the Life Therapy School of Self-Healing, Nayaswami Shivani is one of the founding members of Ananda Village in California since 1969. She was appointed by Swami Kriyananda as an Ananda Lightbearer, Yogacharya, Kriyacharya, and is known for the clarity and dynamism of her teaching.

Nayaswami Uma

Nayaswami Uma has been part of Ananda for 37 years. She worked closely with Swami Kriyananda as his personal assistant for several years, and in 2008 moved to Ananda Assisi. A Kriyacharya, Uma shares Yogananda’s teachings in many countries in Europe.

Nayaswami Premi

Nayaswami Premi became a disciple of Yogananda in 1995, received Kriya initiation from Kriyananda in 1996, and moved to Ananda Assisi in 1997. A certified Ananda Yoga teacher, a Lightbearer and Kriyacharya, Premi accompanies devotees in their preparation for Kriya.

Tyagini Mayadevi

Mayadevi met Swami Kriyananda in Germany in 1979 and received Kriya initiation from him in 1981. She lived for two years at Ananda Village in California, and since 1987 has been a resident and teacher at Ananda Assisi, dedicating much of her time as a Kriyacharya helping devotees prepare for Kriya initiation and helping them afterwards.

Tyagi Jayadev

Jayadev, founder of the Ananda Yoga Academy of Europe, is a Kriyacharya and talented author. He has trained and inspires hundreds of yoga teachers, gives seminars throughout Italy and yearly leads pilgrimages to the Himalayas “In the Footsteps of the Autobiography of a Yogi.”

Nayaswami Clarita

Clarita was born in Buenos Aires, grew up in Rome and has lived at Ananda since 1996. She serves in numerous positions such as teaching meditation classes, self-healing, and the application of spirituality to daily life. She is one of the Life Therapy Self-healing counsellors.

Tyagini Gitanjali

Gitanjali moved from Ananda Village to Ananda Assisi in 1989. She has coordinated many of our music events and was director of the Ananda World Brotherhood choir. Currently Gitanjali teaches many courses at our retreat.

Darshan Lotichius

Darshan Jan Lotichius has practiced meditation since 1981. In 1985 he met Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of the great master Paramhansa Yogananda and founder of Ananda communities in America, Italy and India. Since then he has been a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda and the Kriya yoga path. He holds a degree from the University of Amsterdam and Rome, and has a diploma in violin from the Conservatory of Bari, Italy. Darshan has always sought ways to integrate meditation into all areas of life: professional, artistic, social, personal.
