God's Power - A Song for Self-Healing

Years ago at Ananda Village in California a young woman arrived who had contracted HIV/AIDS through an infected blood transfusion. In those days, this diagnosis was a death sentence that quickly claimed the life of those suffering with this deadly virus, usually within a couple of years.
Happy, the name of this young woman, took Yogananda’s teachings to heart. She worked on her faith in God and Gurus, she worked with Master’s healing techniques, she repeated affirmations and prayed and meditated as much as she was able. She lived at Ananda for about 10 years. She attributed living so long with HiV to Master ‘s teachings and Swamiji’s loving support in applying them in her life.
During that time she was inspired to write this beautiful chant which is part of Happy’s inspiring legacy to all of us. Here are the words, learn it now, and chant it anytime you feel the need to remind yourself of God’s powerful, healing presence in your life.

Anni fa ad Ananda Village in California è arrivata una giovane donna che prese l'HIV/AIDS attraverso una trasfusione di sangue infetto. A quei tempi, questa diagnosi era una condanna a morte che rapidamente reclamò la vita di coloro che soffrivano di questo virus mortale, di solito entro un paio d'anni.
Happy, il nome di questa giovane donna, prese a cuore gli insegnamenti di Yogananda. Lavorò sulla sua fede in Dio e nei Guru, si cimentò con le tecniche di guarigione del Maestro, ripetè affermazioni, pregò e meditò il più possibile. Visse ad Ananda per circa 10 anni.
