Lila Devi founded Spirit-in-Nature Essences in 1977, the oldest flower essences globally outside the UK. She lectures nationally and abroad. Her 7 books include: The Essential Flower Essence Handbook (in 5 languages and used by Doctors Across Borders to train their physicians); Flower Essences for Animals; From Bagels to Curry, a spiritual memoir: I Remember Being a Tulip, a souvenir children’s picture book honoring the Crystal Hermitage Tulip Gardens; and the first 3 of 20 illustrated children’s books, each personifying a flower essence; Bradley Banana and the Jolly Good Pirate, Tommy Tomato and the Mighty Storm Dragon, and Bianca Blackberry and the Crystal Albatross. Lila graduated with honors from the University of Michigan. She is considered to be one of the foremost flower essence developers in the world today.
